About UA Steamfitters Local 439
Steamfitters Local 439 East St. Louis, Illinois members have been serving the counties of St. Clair, Monroe, Madison, Clinton, Randolph and Bond counties since 1911. The members from Steamfitters Local 439 are highly skilled tradespeople who are trained in all mechanical abilities required to fullfill the needs of our industrial, heavy commercial, light commercial and residential partners in southwestern Illinois.
This training starts with a 5-year Department of Labor registered apprenticeship program and is followed by annual continuing education for all of our Journeymen. We at Steamfitters Local 439 pride ourselves on staying relevant with consistently training on new technology and process’s in the mechanical industry with a major emphasis on Productivity and Safety!
